このフレーズ、「親ばか」発言をする際に結構使われている。
先日も知人が13歳の娘の初メイクアップ中の写真をSNSで投稿した際にこういってた。

「be biased」で「showing an unreasonable like or dislike for a person based on personal opinions」（個人の主観に基づいた非理性的な好き嫌いを見せる事）、「prejudice, one-sided, weighed」（偏見、一方的な、一方に偏った）といった意味・
人に対してだけでなく、統計やニュース等に対しても使われる。
I may be biased, but my boy is the best on the team. 親バカだろうけど、家の子がチームで一番だわ。
The judge was biased. その裁判官は偏っていた。
People think that the newspaper is biased towards one particular political party. 人々はその新聞はある特定の政治団体に思考が偏っていると思っている。
