Annatomyで使われていたセリフから。
文字通り読むと「銃撃戦でナイフを持ってくる」。銃撃戦にナイフを持ってきても対抗できない。つまりは「場違い、判断ミス」っていう意味。
「take
a knife to a gunfight」も同意。
